Smoking Cessation Co-Chair
Hello y'all! My name is Brooke Landreneau and I am one of SNPhA's Smoking Cessation co-chairs and apart of UHCoP's class of 2025. I was born and raised in Louisiana and did my undergraduate years in New Orleans at Tulane University. I majored in biological chemistry and moved to Texas for the first time to attend pharmacy school. I joined SNPhA because I reasonated not only with the organization's mission but also the members. As a part of the Smoking Cessation initiave I plan to inform our colleagues and the community not only on the dangers of smoking, but also the different paths to cessation and how to support someone who is willing to quit smoking.
Fun Fact: The most famous person I've ever met (and hugged) is Mark Ruffalo (The Hulk)!
Why did you choose SNPhA?
I chose SNPhA because I love their mission statement. I have seen the impact that SNPhA has on the community and I wanted to be apart of that.

Hi! My name is Tori and a little bit about me… I am a first generation Mexican American AND college graduate and student again for this program. Growing up truly opened my eyes to how underserved the Hispanic population is. I am happy to be part of an organization that hopes to close the gap for all underserved populations! I love my family and friends, I work hard, and I am so excited to graduate and work as a pharmacist! I am married and we have a 15 month old so the family, work, school balance is always interesting… We love working out as a family. I like cooking fun dinners, especially Kamri’s adorable toddler meals! Smoking cessation is a huge passion of mine as well as cardiology because of my dad. I miss him everyday. My hope is to help others quit smoking and stay healthy as I work at our independent pharmacy in the future!
Fun Fact: I love CrossFit and Crumbl. Let’s go get cookies after we hit some big lifts and walk on our hands!
