Operation Immunization aims to raise awareness about the importance of vaccines while increasing immunization rates among both children and adults. This public health initiative addresses the growing incidence, morbidity, and mortality of vaccine-preventable diseases. Through educational outreach and collaborative efforts with healthcare professionals, the initiative also supports the role of pharmacists as vital members of the healthcare team.

Hi everyone! My name is Emetu Umah, and I’m one of the co-chairs for Operation Immunization. I joined SNPhA because helping underserved communities and working toward health equity truly resonates with me. Outside of school, I enjoy going on long runs and cooking!

Han Van
Hi everyone! My name is Han, and I am one of the SNPhA Operation Immunization Co-Chairs! I joined SNPhA because I want to provide for my community by promoting preventive care via vaccines to those who are facing health disparities. In doing so, I hope to also help my community gain a better understanding of vaccines and their significance. Some of my hobbies include collecting Pop Mart figures, playing games, and cooking.
